Middle States Association (MSA) is the oldest regional accrediting association in the United States. Established in 1887, it has two commissions (the Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools and the Commission on Higher Education) and currently accredits more than 5,000 schools and universities in the United States and international schools in 106 countries.
The MSA-CESS accreditation process is a rigorous review process that takes place every seven years. The accreditation review process ensures that CCAS not only meets the organizational and academic standards, but also undertakes a process for development and growth which provides accountability of its operations, fosters stakeholder involvement and commitment, and develops a culture of planning focused on student performance.
